| We do offer a framing service with our prints. However we are now doing it on a strictly quotation basis. Certainly feel free to order framing from us and some of the frames we can provide are on the accompanying slideshow. However we can basically obtain any kind of frame you want (in Australia) and ship the print to you framed. For inspiration I suggest you look at Antons or Larsson-Juhl. If you would like to give us a quote for framing of a print we will need to know: 1. The frame (or kind of frame) you would like - colour, style. 2. Matboard colour - linen slips may be necessary for larger sizes, and felt can look good in black. 3. Any other variations such as double matboard or floating mounts or fillet frames (small thin frames which separate two matboards or lie between the print and the matboard). 4. Whether you are happy with foamcore backing or would like a perfectly flat laminate backing. 5. Whether you would like glass or perspex - perspex is more expensive and scratches more easily but is lighter and not as reflective. |
